Savage talks to Douglas on good Muslims 10-05-06

SAVAGE:   Cincinnati, Ohio, Douglas you’re on the Savage Nation go ahead please.

DOUGLAS:  I agree with y’all, I’ve been a Muslim for eighteen years and there are a lot of misrepresentations inside the Islam with some of the whack jobs across the planet – and I think if, if, if you read Koran you would understand that a lot of the stuff they do is definitely a misrepresenive…misrepresentation of Islam.”

SAVAGE:   Well, I don’t have to read the Koran for the – to know that cutting an innocent persons throat is wrong.  Uh, I would just hope that the Muslims like yourself…you know…reject their, their call.  I mean uh, you know, we the people in the country who are not Muslim…uh, can’t understand how they could rip off a religion like this and …and defame it frankly in the name of Allah, I, I don’t know how they can do that.”

DOUGLAS:   It’s unbelievable, but, but, what they’ve got to understand that a lot of us speak out against this but I think too often people look for these so-called leaders, and they just need to look at the everyday Muslim who speaks out against              this nonsense and stuff…”

SAVAGE:   Beautiful.  You know what? You give me courage.  You give me the courage for the future of America because I can’t believe that the average man…Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, uh…Hindu, Agnostic, would want…to burn a country to the ground I just can’t believe that they want to take a nation like this and destroy it.  Thank you my friend, I’m glad you’re a listener, frankly.
